MHC/Peptide Complexes for Research & Development
Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) receptors play a decisive role in the specificity of the adaptive immune system. By binding epitopes derived from pathogens, cancers (i.e. neo-epitopes), vaccines and biologics, MHC molecules form MHC/peptide complexes that ultimately prime the immune system to either fight the pathogen or cancer or degrade the biologic.
MHC Monomers and Tetramers from Immunitrack
Immunitrack manufactures an extensive portfolio of catalogued and custom monomeric and tetrameric MHC/peptide complexes, and directly supplies these products to customers worldwide. These complexes have a wide range of applications, for example: mapping patient cellular immune responses, monitoring immune responses during clinical trials, and development of new diagnostics, e.g., for viral infections.
Our catalogued products include the most commonly requested MHC/peptide complexes as ready-to-ship items. We also offer custom synthesis for unique peptide sequences (i.e. “non-catalogue”). Immunitrack has in-house production capacity for hundreds of biotinylated MHC/neo-epitope complexes for T cell population studies. We offer a market-leading turnaround time of 3-5 weeks on orders of custom MHC/peptide complexes. This turnaround time may be shortened for user-supplied peptides, if they are of sufficient quality.
Optimised Manufacturing Platform
All MHC manufacturing at Immunitrack is supervised by Chief Scientific Officer, Sune Justesen PhD. Sune has more than 12 years experience in the manufacture of MHC molecules, and prior to founding Immunitrack, he developed and managed one of the world’s largest in vitro assay platforms for assessing peptide binding to MHC. Over 100,000 Kd measurements obtained during that project are available today as affinity measurements in NetMHC and the Immune Epitope Database (IEDB).
100% Peptide Loading
Our optimised manufacturing and rigorous QC processes guarantee that you will receive MHC/peptide complexes with 100 % of the peptide loaded on each complex.
MHC/Peptide Complexes Available as MHC-PE Tetramers or Monomers
We offer our MHC/peptide complexes as tetramers i.e. complexed with streptavidin, or as monomers. Our tetramers are labelled with phycoerythrin (PE) and are ready for use in flow cytometry experiments. Our monomers are biotinylated and can be complexed with the labelled streptavidin of your choice.
